started this business over 25 years ago.

His journey to providing service for precision instrument sharping began while he was working as a finisher for a medical instrument manufacture where one of his jobs was to sharpen devices used in eye surgery. His father, a dentist at the time was looking for a way to better maintain and repair his dental tools. Knowing that his son had some skills in this area thanks to his job, asked him if he might be able to help. Taking the opportunity, Scott looked at how he could apply what he knew of working with surgical medical instruments into working with curettes, scalers, and other dental instruments. Expanding on his knowledge, Scott continued to hone his skills, learning to repair, clean and sharpen, all with the precision and accuracy needed and expected when dealing with dental tools.

Scott continued to help his father for years, sharpening tools when needed. After a while he started to realize the potential in offering this service for other dentists. He had become a professional in the process and noticed a lack of this service in the industry.

In 1997 Scott opened  business dedicated to providing professional services in precision sharpening and maintenance of dental and orthodontic instruments.

Since opening Be Sharp, our owner Scott Pulley has provided precision sharpening to thousands of customers. We continue to grow each year, both in scope and reach, having customers throughout the U. S. and Canada, offering services on a large range of dental and orthodontic devices.
